Our core service, transforming gardens into spaces for you. Our garden design process is a staged approach, with each element building upon the next. We work closely with you throughout each stage, with ongoing communication to develop your garden, working with you so you feel comfortable and confident at each stage.
Stage 1 - Brief & Analysis
This is where our design journey starts. We begin with a comprehensive discussion to understand your aspirations for the garden and define the parameters of your space. An ongoing dialogue with you, establishing the foundational brief from which the design will evolve.

During this stage, we will visit the site for the first time to observe and assess combining this with our discussion, to inform the next steps in the design process.
Stage 2 - Concept Design
At this stage, the garden begins to take shape. Using the insights gathered in Stage 1, we develop and refine the design, integrating our ideas with your input. We maintain close communication throughout, ensuring that you remain actively involved in the process.

By the end of this stage, you will receive a comprehensive design package, including detailed plans, visuals, and mood boards, allowing you to fully visualise your new garden and its potential.
Stage 3 - Detailed Design
With the concept established, we now move to the details. In this stage, we create the precise construction plans, select materials, and determine the most effective building methods. We collaborate with skilled craftspeople to bring your bespoke details to life.

The stage concludes with a tender process, during which we will support you in selecting the most suitable contractor for your project.
Stage 4 - Planting Design
Planting Design is key to any garden space, an element which develops and enhances the space, linking closely in to the overall garden concept. At this stage, we thoughtfully select each plant, layering in character and presence, with every choice contributing to a unified and vibrant garden landscape.
We take great pride in our planting schemes which feature rich, naturalistic designs, evolving through the seasons to give a dynamic beauty to your garden.
Stage 5 - Construction
During this stage the garden is built, landscapes are created, plants are planted and the garden becomes a reality. We continue to work with you closely, ensuring the build retains the design intention, on hand to answer any of your queries and to ensure the garden is built well, with any minor details resolved.

Here we also set out all of the plants personally, ensuring they are planted just where they need to be or adding in more ephemeral plants to further enhance the space.
Stage 6 - Completion & Aftercare
The garden is finished, the contractors have left, and you can now enjoy your new space.
